Assembly Manufacturing Engineer - (Grovetown, GA)

In this role, you will support assembly manufacturing operations by providing day‑to‑day engineering support, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead improvement initiatives that enhance safety, ergonomics, quality, and operational efficiency.
* Support new product introductions and manage ECN/CI changes for current production.
* Conduct and maintain rigorous assembly process audits.
* Develop and implement new manufacturing processes, technologies, layouts, and tooling.
* Create and maintain routings, methods, standard work, quality plans, and labor standards.
* Analyze data to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
* Drive lean manufacturing improvements aligned with the Deere Production System.
* Lead studies involving capacity, productivity, energy usage, and material flow.
* Provide daily technical support for assembly operations and coordinate work with support staff and contractors.

Preferred Skills:
* Experience with JDAAT and MPP.
* Background in production change implementation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
* Proficiency with SAP, PDM, CREO, AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of line design, DLBT, time studies, line balance, and cost/pay structures.
* Capital project experience.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technology discipline, or equivalent experience.
