Project Implementation Manager

Are you an experienced Implementation Project Manager with a background in engineering, automation, logistics or large-scale installation projects? Do you enjoy managing complex projects from concept through to implementation while working directly with customers and stakeholders?

A leading global manufacturer is looking to appoint a Implementation Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of Racking & Storage and automation solutions across the UK. Projects range from £10,000 through to multi-million-pound installations and include warehouse automation, storage systems and complex engineering solutions.

The Role

As Implementation Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery and implementation of customer projects, ensuring contractual obligations, project timelines, safety standards and customer expectations are met.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing installations and implementations on customer sites across the UK
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and senior stakeholders
• Developing project plans, schedules, budgets and technical specifications
• Coordinating subcontractors and third-party suppliers
• Supporting engineering design activities and technical project delivery
• Managing project risks, costs, resources and timelines
• Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and Health & Safety requirements
• Driving projects through to successful completion while maintaining exceptional customer service standards

About You

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Project Manager who can confidently lead complex engineering and implementation projects.

You'll ideally have:

• Proven project management experience Complex Automated Systems and Racking & Storage Systems
• Experience delivering installation or implementation projects
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills
• Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing subcontractors and external suppliers
• Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets and project costs
• A hands-on approach with the flexibility to travel nationally
