HR Business Partner

We're partnering with a well-established family-run retail chain to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-led business where people are at the heart of everything they do.

Working closely with senior leaders and managers across multiple locations, you'll play a key role in driving the people agenda, supporting business growth and delivering impactful HR initiatives that enhance performance, engagement and talent development.

The Opportunity

As HR Business Partner, you will:

• Partner with managers to deliver key people initiatives including performance management, talent reviews and pay reviews.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including absence, conduct, capability and organisational change.
• Support business developments, acquisitions and change programmes through effective people-focused planning.
• Drive talent and succession planning activities to build future leadership capability.
• Coach and develop managers to improve people management skills and employee engagement.
• Analyse HR data and KPIs to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Champion company values and help foster a positive, high-performing culture.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded HR professional who can build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

You'll ideally have:

• Experienced Generalist HR Business Partner experience within retail or a fast-paced multi-site environment
• Strong employee relations expertise
• Experience supporting managers through change and organisational development
• Excellent coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• TUPE experience would be advantageous
• CIPD qualification
