Product Finance Business Partner - 12 month FTC

The Opportunity
As Product Finance Business Partner on an initial 12 month fixed term contract you'll play a critical role in supporting the growth of the organisation's Product operating model. Working across Finance, Product and Technology functions, you'll help establish scalable financial processes, governance and controls as the business expands its Product Teams.

This is a highly visible role where you'll influence key stakeholders, drive financial accountability and ensure the right frameworks are in place to support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial governance across product-related investment, cost allocation, capitalisation and reporting.
• Develop consistent and repeatable processes for mobilising and scaling Product Teams.
• Partner with Product Leads, Delivery Managers and Finance Business Partners to provide commercial support and challenge.
• Identify readiness gaps, risks and control weaknesses before new Product Teams launch.
• Drive improvements in financial data quality, audit evidence and reporting accuracy.
• Ensure robust financial, asset and audit controls remain effective as the Product organisation grows.
• Support ownership transition between Product Finance and wider business finance teams as programmes grow.

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience working within agile environments and alongside Product, Digital or Technology teams
• Strong commercial and financial management skills
• Knowledge of financial controls, governance, capitalisation and investment accounting
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
• The ability to influence, challenge and collaborate with senior stakeholders
• A proactive approach to identifying risks and solving problems in a changing environment

The Package

• Salary up to £80,000
• £6,600 car allowance
• Up to 10% employer pension contribution

• Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the Manchester office
• This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
