Hybrid Working - Birmingham - 2 days a week on site.

Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a We are seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to support the successful delivery of projects and programmes within an Asset Management environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project governance, monitoring delivery performance, producing management information (MI), and ensuring adherence to PMO standards and processes.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented PMO Analyst with previous Asset Management industry experience with hands on skills with Management Information (MI), ideally gained within investment management, financial services or large-scale transformation programmes.
They will possess strong governance, reporting, financial tracking and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to support multiple projects and drive effective programme delivery.

This role is based in Birmingham.
This role will be Via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Governance: Maintain governance frameworks, RAID logs, project milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
  • Reporting & MI: Produce accurate project status reports, dashboards and management information for senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Budget & Resource Tracking: Monitor project budgets, expenditure, resource allocation and forecasts, identifying risks and variances.
  • Planning & Delivery: Support project planning, milestone tracking, forecasting and change control to ensure alignment with scope, timelines and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Organise governance forums, project meetings and steering committees, documenting decisions, actions and dependencies.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies to support effective resolution.
  • Process Improvement: Promote PMO best practices, governance standards, process compliance and continuous improvement across project delivery.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a PMO Analyst or within a Project Management Office, ideally supporting complex projects or transformation programmes.
  • Previous experience within Asset Management is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, RAID management, planning, reporting and change control.
  • Experience producing MI, dashboards, project status reports and senior management reporting packs.
  • Knowledge of budget management, resource tracking, financial forecasting and project controls.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Power BI or SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
