Overview

We're looking for a Cloud Engineer with a solid core infrastructure and security background to support a portfolio comprising six workstreams, providing additional cloud engineering capacity across the wider programme. There is a strong focus on cyber security initiatives, and the successful candidate will work across multiple trains and teams within the ETS portfolio.

Key workstreams

• Identity-related projects, including Privileged Access Management (PAM) and tenant setup and configuration activities
• Identity and governance administration, including SailPoint (desirable)
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP), specifically around web access policies and controls
• General infrastructure improvement and remediation work, including Active Directory (AD) remediation activities
• A variety of cloud engineering and security-related activities across the wider portfolio
• Additional detailed performance objectives will be set by your manager

Technical requirements

• Strong cloud engineering background, with experience across AWS and Azure (AWS is the primary platform, but solid Azure knowledge is also essential)
• Knowledge of network elements, including VPCs, DNS routing, load balancers and subnets
• Confident knowledge and command of both Windows and Linux server environments
• Cloud security experience, including enforcing firewall rules and identity and access management (IAM)
• Sound knowledge of networking and security principles more broadly, including network architecture, access controls and security best practice
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues both during implementation and post-implementation
• Experience with SailPoint is a nice-to-have rather than a requirement. This is only one of several workstreams, and the team already has SailPoint expertise in place, so this is considered a bonus rather than a key requirement. Experience setting up and managing tenants in similar IAM platforms would likely be transferable

• The resource will be shared across multiple teams and workstreams within the portfolio
• A significant element of the role will involve support, troubleshooting and project delivery activities
