Business Analyst - Transformation

My client who sits within Higher Education, is looking for a Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme focused on enhancing operational services, improving user experience and delivering more efficient, compliant and technology-enabled ways of working. This is an exciting opportunity to work across Finance, Operations, Technology and Service Delivery teams, helping to shape future processes and services that support a large and complex organisation.

Duties to Include

• Mapping and documenting current ("as-is") processes
• Facilitating stakeholder workshops and interviews
• Conducting business process analysis and pain point assessments
• Producing solution options and recommendations
• Designing future-state processes and target operating models
• Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements
• Supporting the development of a multi-year transformation business case
• Reviewing processes relating to research-funded staffing, partner payments, foreign currency transactions and research finance operations
• Helping shape digital improvements, including timesheet solutions and management reporting dashboards.

Essential Skills and Experiences

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering technology-enabled change programmes.
• Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycles and business change methodologies.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, process modelling and business analysis techniques.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience analysing business processes, data and systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs to challenging timescales.
• Higher Education Sector Experience
